It wasn`t easy to decide this one...

However, based on all the evidence we have got, here...

simply has got to be... 

THE SEA QUEEN

herself: 

MERA of ATLANTIS!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

Huh?

Yeah, alright, we admit it here and now: 

aqua aficionados see Queen Mera everywhere 

in every redhead (even the surface-dwellers off the beach) 

every strawberry-blonde on the street... 

even every dirty blonde around! 

In Aquaficionada Brunettes also!

Very few measure up though...

See what we mean?

Now *this* depiction (by Daniel Govar) makes the Sea Queen 

too... feral... almost into a Sea Witch! Needless to say, 

it is not our favorite... at all. 

Unless the aim was to evoke Naiad - DC`s water elemental  

or a temperamental sea nymph, perhaps?

Whatever this was, it must have been inspired by DC itself...

... really NOT our favorite depiction of Mera! 

(As if the whole sordid tale with Thanatos had not been enough...!)

But that`s another story...!

 NEVER MIND...!!!
