Aquaman Will Return
I wouldn't have believed it if it had been foretold:
Holiday Season 2022
and still no sequel released
to follow up on the landmark hit movie
greatest success in its genre*, in 2018:
James Wan's AQUAMAN
* said genre being not strictly super-heroics
but much more than that: epic fantasy, too!
Something that binds all of it: myth, legend,
modern-day make-believe...
In brief: something far beyond the limited scope
of mere superheroic shenanigans!
However, even after the film's release,
this many years later, some infinitesimal minds
do not admit it - heck, they don't even see it...!
But that is another story...
With the wave of changes (!) set in motion now
by the other James (Gunn - not Wan!)
one thing is for sure: AQUAMAN WILL RETURN
...only Jason Momoa might not return as him!
Maybe we will finally get (again, actually)
a classic, "accurate" (Aquarate?) depiction
as we did -twice- on the small screen already
when Alan Ritchson played the part - then reprised it
after Justin Hartley (inset) briefly played that part for a
tentative series pilot spun off the CW's Smallville!
There are idiots on the net that still believe
that such a pilot was never done - that the stills
and excerpts from it are fake!
Poor, hopeless wetrats...
Making Momoa a simple Lobo
would open the floodgates to a far more
faithful depiction of the entire Aqua Saga
starting with the Sea King himself;
whose 80th Anniversary was, in fact, in 2021.
It will be close to two years overdue
-both the film's release and this book, below-
when St. Valentine's Day 2023 rolls around...!!
Until then...
Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas
and some Acqua Di Parma with that!
Emilio Pucci will say GRAZIE.
Tell him Luciano sent you!

Oh, yeah...
This post's title does have a double-meaning, too - of course it does!
For DC has taken upon itself to kill off this hero - AGAIN - lately...
(There were several events; one of them was a DARK CRISIS --- finally a "D.C" at DC; it only took them roughly three decades to think of that one!)
And they killed him off - AGAIN.
Jeph Loeb must be happy.
Happy Hanukkah/Chanukkah... you smuck!
Kurt Busiek must be proud, too.
And who else... Doodles???
To be fair, they killed off THE ENTIRE JUSTICE LEAGUE.
And that came into effect as, in live action, the fanboys were starting to come to terms with the very real CURSE OF THE JUSTICE LEAGUE that appears to be plaguing - hovering above all of the "DCEU" or, simply, DCU movie projects...
But that is another story.
The Justice League is dead.
They've been replaced with several stand-ins bearing the same name - an all-inclusive line up (which means very... woke.)
Aquaman is dead... for now.
As he was before - before Sword of Atlantis, before Brightest Day, before Flashpoint Beyond...
He's dead - but he gets better.
And he resurfaces.
Hence...
"Aquaman Will Return"
Aquaman will certainly return
But I hear that, right now, the savior of DC is... NIGHTWING.
'Cause Superman is dead (again)
and Batman too
But the keys to the kingdom (and entire universe rests upon the shoulders of) a guy, a so-called "Titan" who has ABSOLUTELY NO SUPER POWERS AT ALL!
But his action figure just got released - part of Todd MacFarlane's SUPER POWERS revival/resurrected toyline...
SO IT FITS?
LOL
