~My Mer-name is Glaucus Bioluminescence. Wow ~ even the Mer~folk agree that I am luminous! ~They identify me with a minor sea~deity though: Glaukos has nothing to do with glaucoma, at least ~~~ (thank God! The REAL GOD!) ~~~~ Oh... no; Glaukos gave its color to glaucoma... :( ~~ well, says they! ~~~~~~~~ Aegir, Poseidon, Triton and scores of others are more powerful than him, anyway... so there! Everything will be fine! The Aquaficionadas are on my side! :)

Maybe it didn't go so well because THAT AQUA IS NOT THE REAL AQUA! IT'S A FAKE!
Mind you, that is not the real "luminous" either - my avatar, courtesy of Yahoo Inc., can hardly pass off as the genuine article, you know... ;)
Same goes for the "Aquaman 1 Million" - when compared to the Aquaman from circa 1969 written by Steve Skeates and drawn by Jim Aparo - THE Aquaman I viewed as a true hero!
But that is another story...

Truth be told, the real Aqua would truly be... an angel!
An angel invoked in ancient Solomonic rites, according to one of my most prized reference books, the Dictionary of Angels compiled by the late Gustav Davidson...
Indeedy, there is an angel simply known as... Aqua!
Discovering that made me wonder if little itty bitty intuitive me, way back in the Seventies, admired the super-hero so much only because he was a sort of avatar of the angelic being...?
But I digress...
And, of course, "luminous" isn't me either - I am merely Luciano!
Only One Is Truly Luminous...
I reflect His Light - or I try to - that is all!
