The World is in a real CRISIS ~ 

we do not need this hogwash right now. 

But if there is anything to discuss at all, 

casting-wise for that one... 

let it be adding one key figure to it then. 

For in this anti-Asian ambiance these days 

(specifically anti-Chinese; anti-wet markets) 

Marvel will apparently go ahead with 

their Shang-Chi guy; the CBC's Simu Liu, is it?

Well then, DC should think of adding 

not the FIJI Water viral Girl as Aquagirl 

but rather an important secondary character 

from its history that is totally needed 

right here and right now... 

CAST THIS YOUNG LADY HERE 

as Japanese-American legendary heroine 

Miya Shimada ~ also known as...

Here is -in part- her Who's Who entry file ~ 

and there she is interacting with the whole blamed 

crazy DC Universe, as it was way back in 1986:

"Tsunami" is as temperamental as they come ~ 

a confrontation with Mera (or Aquaman alone) 

would make for interesting sequences 

before they inevitably become allies... 

So has it been since her very first appearance: 

And subsequent roles she was given: 

With her, could come an entire set 

of secondary submarine characters 

(rather than The Others - surface-dwellers)  

with whom Aquaman would have much more 

in common, naturally ~ 

characters such as Miya's daughter, 

Deborah Perkins a.k.a. DEEP BLUE: 

... not quite sure who to cast as this one - 

but that is not my problem to solve! 

All I know is that I'd rather have her onboard 

rather a bleach-blond tattooed girl 

going by the name 

"Dolphin" 

DEEP BLUE (or even Indigo) is far more 

palatable and commercial - both. 

And she would be much more a team player 

than any one of The Others 

- or this broad, for instance: 

AND THE GOAL HERE IS 

TO TALK ABOUT THE OCEANS, 

THE ENVIRONMENT, 

THE PLANET!!! 

If a little-known movie called 

"The Healer" 

could broach the delicate subjects 

of cancer, children dying of it 

and FAITH in GOD in all that  

-while championing a cause 

founded by Paul Newman- 

certainly a big time production 

that targets a larger audience 

and another BILLION at the 

box-office (if the pandemic can 

ever go away...) 

could tackle ALL of these 

all-important subjects 

and do it amidst its 

fantastic sub-text 

and magical world of 

ATLANTIS... 

Quite ironically enough... 

the cast of "The Healer" looks quite exactly like 

the alternate world's version of AQUAMAN 

had it starred Paul Walker and Bryce Dallas Howard 

as the eventual royal couple of Atlantis 

~ as it should have been, probably!!! 

The presence of Jonathan Pryce 

in a pivotal supporting role here 

makes you wonder what it could have been too 

if someone other than Willem Dafoe 

had taken on the role of Vulko Nuidis...!

But that is all another story...
