#NationalBeachDay

Hey, Aquaficionadas and Aquaficionados 
WORLDWIDE --- 
today, in the USofA anyway, it is 
NATIONAL BEACH DAY! 
YAY!!! 

Celebrate already - 
and, yeah, that means you too 
Aqua LesbiAnna! 
(And I did say BEACH, Aqua Anna; 
not bitch - BEACH! °
Don't you start something now...!!!)
A Day unlike any other (?) 
coming a little late in the summer, maybe, 
but hey - better late than never, EH? 
A Day on which we can 
renew our resolve to champion 
the cause of the seas, 
of our environment's wealth - 
on our beaches - doing nothing much! 
AGREED? 
Now, the rest of you water-logged fowls... 
LOOK HERE: 
what they had to write, post and say 
about the joyous day, on social media... 
(but how about some official confirmation on what day it is - hmm?)

to totally ignore what August 30th is/was/ever will be
on the INTERNATIONAL WATERS NOW... 

Oceana, however, knows it all too well:


And, once again, whoever it is that runs 
the official Aquaman Twitter page 
has dropped the ball big time: 
sharks are a huge part of Aquaman's, ah, arsenal 
if you will... And for him to completely omit 
anything about an International Day 
in honor of the fiercest denizen of the deep 
is quite the oversight... 
That and all the other days of the same extent 
that are routinely ignored by this 
"aqua staff"...  Deep sixed 
and off to meet Davy Jones' Locker 
is what they deserve! 
But that is another story... 


and to conclude in a, ah, purely wet way here, hey; 
 the way you always want it to be, Aqua Anna - ha!


Good luck seeing all those tweets now, Aqua Anna! 

 I know - they turn you on... 
Fetch them all - while you can!

Sanitas Per Aquam

Winter beckons on the horizon - 
summer gave way to the Fall... 
And, before we all fall down, this autumn, 
why not seek to recharge those batteries NOW - 
seeking some vital nutrients that can only 
be found in nature: 
sand... sun... sea! 
Which brings us all... to the beach! 


 For you know what they say... 

er... no, that's not it - although that's good, too! 


no - that's definitely not it!  


...may be true, too - but that's not it either! 


...for the love of... yes, we will, but...


That's not it... sorry, fishies... 


...very well, but... that's not our point right now... 


OK - WE WILL. But... 


 LIFE IS A BEACH - 
that's what they say! 

And yeah, they may be saying that, too...
But let's keep our focus 
on the real topic at hand now - shall we? 

Beaches... 

That's where the Aquaficionadas are!

AND BESIDES...

But there are sharks out there - 
as DISCOVERY CHANNELS 
remind us, every once in a while, 
out of the generosity of their hearts 
(which is quite considerable, indeed) 
on their fabled SHARK WEEKS -
which sneak up on viewers 
like clockwork, every summer... 
Have you seen it, this year? 
Last year? The year before that?

Hard to believe that getting in THE WATER can actually be GOOD for your HEALTH now... hmm? 







The whole Phelps thing kind of had... 
well, ZERO impact whatsoever! 
People will still fear sharks - no matter what! 






This entire past summer was, of course, quite a chaotic affair as it was - without adding any pressure to it by racing sharks either! 
It was a disappointing summer, for the most part - 
quickly followed by a debilitating hurricane season 
(Harvey, Irma, Jose, Katia, Lee & Maria saw to that!) 
followed by a long, surprising (up 'til NOW!) 
Indian Summer... 


Many are the vacation resorts that have not recuperated yet 
and will not have fully recuperated until late November 
from the passages and damages wreaked upon them 
by all of these successive hurricanes! 

One would think that it would be 
in extreme poor taste to 
rehash SHARKNADO news 
in the given circumstances - 
but no; Ian Ziering's 
WEDDING 
(and whatever help 
one Orlando Jones 
brought to those 
proceedings...) 
were firmly ensconced 
within the Sharknado 
file...
Or is it universe? 
In this day and age 
of firmly-established 
fictional universe 
continuity... 


Us? 
We're fully committed 
to what is best - for us! 
Saving up for a vacation here... 
while the resorts are in semi-shambles 
only partly restored! 
PERFECT time to go - now! 
Bwah-ha-ha... tra la la! 


And if we haven't saved enough on time for 
our preferred departure times... 
We can always make up the lost cash 
by earning some extra dough 
writing about the travel itself! 
Right here 
genial - is it not?

Why the heck not? 
We sure as heck blog about it already - 
HUH? 

AND IF THAT DOESN'T WORK OUT...
